We are deeply saddened to report that, a few nights ago, Mr. Reid Diamond lost his long battle with cancer, succumbing in his sleep at his Toronto home. We originally met Reid many years ago in his role as the bass player of Shadowy Men On A Shadowy Planet and continued to work with him as he and Don Pyle went on to form Phono-Comb in later years. Reid's love of life and those around him was always readily apparent and in no way lessened or changed as he fought his illness. This was a man of tremendous strength of character as any whose lives he touched will undoubtedly attest. We will miss him greatly and fear his like will not be here again. We extend our most sincere condolences to all of Reid's family and friends.
