Peter used to work at Vortex Records in Toronto, and Shadowy Men posters were always in the front window. Peter's band, The Dundrells, regularly did shows with Shadowy Men, and Peter recorded "Reid Does Neil", the Shadowy Men songs for "Comic Book Confidential", "Faster, Santa Claus, Ho Ho Ho", and the Jad Fair & Phono-Comb debut "In A Haunted House" among others.
Peter very kindy sent on photos of a bunch of the Shadowy Men posters he saved from the store.
